Erik is presently CEO of Zerocopter, a company which ‘increases the security of digital environments and applications’. Till the middle of the year 2020 he was Managing Director of Fox-IT. Next to the European expansion he was responsible for business strategy and the strengthening and extension of the relationships between government and corporates.
He studied law with a focus on cyberlaw, criminal law en eLaw. After his study he became forensic researcher at Fox-IT and subsequently COO of the business unit Fox Replay, which was taken over by Netscout Systems which appointed Erik to general manager security.
His knowledge and executive experience in Cybersecurity was extended working for security company DearBytes and at PwC as Director Cybersecurity. After PwC he joined Koninklijke KPN as Managing Director Security Services.
