Nicolaas Heij works since September 2020 at Invest-NL, where he helps to implement the fund investment strategy. Nicolaas started his career at former Amrobank, which merged into ABN Amro. He was involved in different roles within the Investment Bank activities, such as Structured Finance, Corporate Finance and Venture Capital (IT). After he left the bank he became an independent advisor and managed a RVO Seed Fund and was involved in a start up. He assisted several companies in developing and implementing their (fund) investment strategies. Nicolaas is since 2004 member of committees related to RVO’s Seed facility and ‘Groefaciliteit’. He studied Economics at the University of Amsterdam. Nicolaas is a member of the investment committee on behalf of Invest-NL.
